Thanks for posting a blog on Thomas Ken's words--I did so myself this morning. <br /><br />Bishop Ken died 300 years ago this March, but his words continue to be sung. The Doxology is the last stanza of three (not two) hymns. The third is a Midnight Hymn, written for times when the boys at Winchester had insomnia.
