We've also been thinking a lot about how very important family and friends are. Life is brief, and material things pale in comparison to people and relationships. During the difficult days of life, the Lord and those he allows us to live in relationship with are there. And as we've re-read your cards and emails from 2011, we want to thank you, once again, for being there for us. So much has changed these past three years, but our God is the same and always faithful. We are now settled and feel very much at home since relocating two years ago, and we are thankful. God bless you all ~ Sherry P.S. Our prayers go out to those in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Iowa. |
What a precious post! What a testimony to read of your love and faithfulness to God and His to you during a time that could have sent you (and your family) tumbling...I'm so grateful that you were able to hold fast to a loving Heavenly Father. I had only read your blog a few times before the tragedy happened. I'm so glad to have found your "new" blog when you came back to it, and to be able to follow along with this exciting chapter God is opening up for you! You're a blessing to me, to all of your readers I'm sure and we thank God for you ;) Have a wonderful, wonderful week!

We've thought of you often this week, especially with news of tornadoes in the area again. This morning, I read of a family who lost their husband/father and two daughters/sisters in a tornado in Arkansas this past April 27. (http://proverbs14verse1.blogspot.com/2014/04/tittle-family-tornado-victims-emergency.html) Praying for them to experience the Lord's grace and provision as you have in these 3 years following your own April 27. What a foundation of strength there is in knowing that God is good and that He works everything together for good--no matter what happens! Thanks for the encouragement you are to me through this blog!
ReplyDeleteDear Smith family,
DeleteYes, we've been praying for the Tittle family, and I so thank you for your sweet comments. You and your family have been such a blessing to us, and we continue to pray that the Tittle family will be encouraged as we have and that God will comfort their hearts and heal their bodies and meet their every need, as only He can truly do.
I thought about you all as I read the tragic story of the Tittle family. Praying for your family and all those affected by the storms yesterday and those that may be in the path of any storms coming tonight. Stay safe.

My birthday is April 27. I think of you often and try to keep up with you. I had just discovered your blog when the tornado hit. You have a beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteMy husband was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) four years ago. For over two years, we relied on prescription medications and therapies, but unfortunately, his symptoms continued to worsen. His memory, coordination, and overall strength declined, and everyday life became increasingly difficult.Last year, out of desperation and hope, we decided to try an herbal treatment program from NaturePath Herbal Clinic. Honestly, we were skeptical at first, but within a few months of starting the treatment, we began to notice real changes. His alertness improved, his movements became steadier, and he regained a surprising amount of energy and clarity.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly, he also regained much of his independence and confidence. It’s been a life-changing experience he feels more like himself again, better than he had in years. If you or a loved one is struggling with CJD, I truly recommend looking into their natural approach.
